Big City High Life respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects all vendors and users on our platform to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and other applicable intellectual property laws, we have adopted the following policy for reporting and removing infringing content.

1. Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your copyrighted work has been copied, uploaded, or used on our platform in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please send a written DMCA notice to our Designated Agent with the following information:

  • A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or person authorized to act on their behalf
  • Identification of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed
  • Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing, including its location on our platform (e.g., URL or product listing)
  • Contact information of the complaining party (address, phone number, and email)
  • A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law
  • A statement that the information in the notification is accurate, and under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner

2. Counter-Notification Procedure

If you are a vendor or user who believes your content was removed in error or was wrongly identified as infringing, you may send us a counter-notification. Your counter-notice must include:

  • Your physical or electronic signature
  • Identification of the material that was removed or to which access was disabled
  • The location where the material appeared before it was removed
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed or disabled as a result of a mistake or misidentification
  • Your name, address, and telephone number, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district (or if outside the U.S., in any judicial district in which BCHL may be found)

3. Repeat Infringer Policy

Big City High Life reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts of users or vendors who are determined to be repeat infringers, in accordance with the DMCA and applicable law.

4. Good Faith & Abuse

Filing false or malicious DMCA takedown notices or counter-notices may result in legal consequences. Please use this policy responsibly.
